Summer Day Camp

ARC Summer Day Camp provides children with an opportunity to experience learning at ARC first-hand. As a school community, we value play, curiosity, and experimentation, and support children in fostering relationships and growing 21st-century skills.

Our staff are caring and patient and lead with a deep respect for each individual child. They help each child to recognize and push their own boundaries, growing their self-awareness and confidence over time.

"Wonderful summer camp programs! Teachers are engaging, thoughtful, and truly care about the education and experience of their students. Highly recommend!"

Back for a third summer, this year for two weeks only, ARC’s play-based and inquiry-driven summer camp invites campers to spend the week exploring, creating, and learning.  With a focus on nature-immersion, collaboration, and developing a growth-mindset, campers learn to challenge themselves, think creatively, and make connections with others.

Ages 6-12 years

July 14-18 — Wilderness Survival: Campers will learn about important outdoor survival skills, exploring knots, shelter building, water purification, and fire starting (weather permitting); the week will culminate in a final-day group orienteering challenge!

July 21-25 — Outdoor Games Challenge: Campers will explore a variety of outdoor games, including games of chance and skill, both collaborative and competitive. In small groups, they will create new outdoor games based solely on the materials found in a mystery box! The week will end with a final day of gameplay for the whole group.
